Professional Experience
Kaitlyn focuses her practice on personal injury litigation, general civil litigation, and municipal law. Kaitlyn joined McNichol, Byrne & Matlawski, P.C. after spending three and a half years at the Delaware County Public Defender's Office where she honed her trial skills in both jury and non-jury trials representing clients charged with various degrees of criminal offenses.
Kaitlyn is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Kaitlyn received her Juris Doctorate from the Widener University School of Law. While at Widener, she was an active member of the Moe Levine Honor Society for Trial Advocacy. While in law school, Kaitlyn was a certified legal intern with the Office of the District Attorney in Delaware County. Kaitlyn completed her undergraduate studies at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, suma cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
In additional to academic achievements, Kaitlyn excelled in athletics. She was a scholar-athlete as a member of the West Chester University's Cheerleading Team.
Kaitlyn lives in Chester County, Pennsylvania with her husband, Brian, and their children, Anabelle, Matthew, Lainey and Colin.
